1 Chronicles 3:1-9
David had six sons born to him during he seven year reign in Hebron. Then in Jerusalem he had four sons by Bathsheba and nine others. This doesn't count the daughters or the sons of concubines. Excluding Saul, who was first king, with David we begin the lineage of the kings of Judah.
1 Chronicles 3:10-19
The Kings of the Davidic dynasty are listed. By verse nineteen we see Zerubbabel, of the post exillic period. He was appointed govenor by the Persians and oversaw the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem.
